What a natural skincare label does not tell you

A natural origin story is not evidence that a product is safe or suitable for you.

Short answer

Natural origin alone does not establish safety or suitability. FDA cautions against assuming that natural ingredients are necessarily safe. S12

What to record instead

A useful shopping record separates the origin story from specific product information: identity, stated claims, directions, quantity and cost. Naturali Beauty does not give products a toxicity score or assume synthetic ingredients are inferior.

  • Identity: brand, full product name, variant and region.
  • Stated claims: the manufacturer's exact words and where you found them.
  • Directions: as printed on the current official label.
  • Quantity: package size and unit.
  • Cost: the price you will pay, compared per mL or per g.
